Donate Blood, Donate Life. Our National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, January 22nd from 11am - 4pm. Scan the QR code to register to give blood.

Our VCL Chili & Chill event promotes community engagement. Thank you to the Community Action Agency, Texas Roadhouse, The Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse, and Neglect for helping put this great event on.

Ms. Simpson's 2nd grade class had a fantastic time at our holiday party today. We played bingo, ate snacks, held a classroom gift exchange, and decorated some Christmas "trees". To quote one of the kids, "This is the best Christmas, EVER!!!" Thank you, so much, to our classroom parents for donating snacks, purchasing a gift for the exchange, and to a few who donated a few extra gifts for those in need. We appreciate your support! Go Jayhawks!

The dress up day for today was festive head gear! The kids in Mrs. Johnson's class had a blast with this day! I think the teachers did too!

Yesterday was flannel day! Today was holiday socks day! Mrs. Johnson's room has had so much fun celebrating this wonderful time together!

Ms Simpson's 2nd grade class is enjoying the countdown to the holiday! Today, we wore our holiday socks!!! We are also having a friendly "Team Santa" Vs. "Team Grinch" competition. We have equal teams, and are trying to show positive behavior!
