Bus Rides at Kindergarten Round-Up!
We will be giving bus rides at Kindergarten Round-Up on Thursday. Registration is from 5:15-6:15. Bus rides will be at 5:45, 6:00, and 6:15.
All students riding the bus will need a ticket to get on the bus which they will receive (with their name on it) after completing their registration forms. The driver will collect the tickets. At the end of the night there will be a ticket drawn to win a School Bus Backpack. 🚌
Jackie Robinson Day, part 2.
Today is Jackie Robinson Day!!! Our wonderful PTO at Townsend took an idea and ran with it! Mrs. Annie Johnson made shirts for the 1st & 2nd grade students in Ms Simpson's class. In reference to our studies during Black History Month, we celebrated our favorite #42!!!
We "sported" our shirts, did an art project, and had a day of learning through celebration!

Athletic Updates for 4/15/2025: The HS Track meet and HS Boys Golf has been canceled for today. Both events will be rescheduled. We will update soon.
Tomorrow begins MSTEP testing for third, fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. It is imperative that your child get a good nights rest, come to school on time, and ready to rock the test! Thank you.

Tomorrow morning is a School Bus Evacuation Safety Drill.
Please note: For those who are following the BusRight App your child's bus will be going to the Bus Garage to complete the drill. All of the buses will complete the drill and then transport the kids to school. This is for both MS/HS and Townsend. If late, the students will not be marked tardy.

We will be moving concession supplies from the indoor concession stands to football field concession stand. If you can help out meet us at the home side concession stand at 5:00PM.
