Today, in honor of "U for Under" (ABC end-of-the-year countdown), Ms. Simpson's 2nd grade class made a few blanket forts, in order to work UNDER their desks!
A special shout-out to the 2 boy team. I accidently grabbed a baby blanket when I packed the blankets at home. They showed a lot of determination & teamwork while trying to make it work!!! Luckily, I also had a few large beach towels in my car :)

Our Envirothon team, new prospective members, and our community supporter Kay Cure spent a couple of hours this afternoon cleaning up on Draper Rd. Making a difference in their community. Proud of our Jayhawks!
