The Envirothon team took learning outside with a kayaking trip on Vandercook Lake! Students collected aquatic life, learned to spot native vs. invasive species, and helped protect local ecosystems by logging invasive species on the MISIN app. They capped off the day by testing water quality and enjoying time on the lake. Vandy's College and Career Access Center rep, Arlene, talked to the 9th, 10th, and 11th graders today about their future and all the opportunities that they have available to help them achieve it- like scholarships, financial aide, training programs, career center, internships, TIP, and free community college!
