Mental strength is just as important as physical strength. 💪🧠
Today, our football team had the opportunity to learn from our school social worker, Bryana Johnson, during a mental strength session focused on building confidence, resilience, and the mindset needed to compete both on and off the field.
After the lesson, the players returned the favor by giving Ms. Johnson a few pointers on how to throw a football. 🏈 Safe to say everyone learned something today!

Over the past two days, our campers embraced every challenge, learned new skills, built confidence, and grew together as teammates. Their energy, dedication, and willingness to support one another made this year’s camp a tremendous success.

What a great start to Middle School Cheer Camp!
Our athletes spent the day building a strong foundation by developing their cheer skills, learning new techniques, and working together as a team.
Vandercook Lake Youth Football is looking for passionate volunteers to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season!
We are currently seeking dedicated coaches for our Youth Flag Football and Tackle Football programs. This is an opportunity to be part of a program that has grown and strengthened over the past five years while helping develop the next generation of Jayhawks.
Our youth coaches work alongside our middle school and high school coaching staffs to teach fundamentals, build confidence, and create a consistent football experience throughout the Vandercook Lake program.
If you love football, enjoy mentoring young athletes, and want to make a lasting impact in our community, we'd love to hear from you.
