We’re excited to have Carlie helping with our Varsity Girls Volleyball program this season! A lifelong Jayhawk volleyball player with a passion for the game and developing athletes, she’s ready to help our girls compete, grow, and have an incredible season.

Looking forward to serving our fresh daily salad bar at Townsend Elementary!
This will be another option at lunch for students and staff each day. The salad bar will come with protein options, a grain, fruits and a milk. Starting Tuesday, September 8

Listen and Learn with Superintendent Bradfield tonight, Monday, Aug. 31 at 6pm in the high school library.

Our high school fitness center is open and FREE to our community 18+ every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-8pm. We staff it through a grant so there is always someone to help you with the machines or spot. Park in the back of the school and come in through the fitness center entrance.

Our HS student council, band, and cheer team welcomed back our staff and students during the assembly. The HS student council also introduced all staff members, reviewed new policies, and sang the fight song. Proud of our students. Go Jayhawks!

Vandercook Lake Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our Vandercook Lake Public Schools bus drivers, Ken Jackson. Ken was a valued member of our Jayhawk family who dedicated his time to safely transporting and caring for our students. His kindness, commitment, and presence will be deeply missed by our students, staff, and families.

A local memorial honoring Ken is being planned for this fall. We will share those details with our community once the family has finalized the plans. Please keep Ken’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
