Celebrating 100 days with you (my students)! Today, we watched the "How many licks does it take...." Tootsie Roll pop commercial & then took on the challenge. Students had to predict whether it would take more than 100 licks, exactly 100, or less than 100 licks. Most of the kids stopped just past 100, understandably, but some chose to keep going!
We also made 100 day necklaces & crowns!

Congratulations to our Varsity competitive cheer team on their season! The team finished 6th, Maycie and Cynea received All Conference, and Justice and Lilie received Honorable Mentions.
Game Cancellation Notice
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Girls Varsity Basketball games scheduled for Wednesday vs. Grass Lake and Friday vs. Homer have been canceled.
In honor of the 100th day of school attendance (tomorrow, 2/4!), Ms. Simpson's 2nd grade students read a poem about 100 days of school, completed a creative writing task, and used dice to "Race to 100".

Congratulations, Amanda Curtis! After interviews with the school board, she was appointed as the Interim Trustee to the Vandercook Lake School Board.
Don't forget - Smiles on Wheels will be at the MS/HS this Thursday and Friday. Permission slips were sent home last week and are attached here. You can also pickup a form in the office.

Please complete the attached consent form even if the answer is NO so we can know your child has shared it with you. Children who see a dentist regularly can still benefit from the program as they can get FREE Sealants, if insurance does not cover them.
