Good Luck Cain!

Happy 100th Day of School to our amazing First Graders! Mrs. Sweeney sure is proud of these intelligent, creative, hard working, and FUN Jr. Jayhawks!

Mrs. Lambarth’s 1st graders were enjoying working on something new in music today!

Today was the 100th day of school!!!!Mrs’s Schulten’s class celebrated by seeing how many licks it would take to get to the center of the lollipop! It was so much fun! The students predicted before testing how many licks it took! We guessed 50! It was 150!!!!!

Mrs. Graham’s class tried to see how many times we could write our names in 100 seconds. We enjoyed all of the 100th day decorations in the school. We had so much fun doing 100’s of things!!!

Final score! 77-49. Great job Jayhawks!

Jayhawks leading at the half!

18-14 Jayhawks after 1!

It’s PJ Day and Mrs. Lambarth’s friends are loving it!

Mrs. Sweeney’s 1st Graders practiced place value today. Using longs and cubes was a fun and concrete way to help us show tens and ones in two-digit numbers.

Mrs. Lambarth’s friends worked together to create experiences to write about.

We have been having fun with our phonics in Mrs. Graham’s class. We have been drawing crazy monsters and clowns as we rhyme and fill in the missing parts of the stories about them! Lots of giggles and great art!!
