Good Evening, Jayhawk families,
Please remember that masks must be worn on the bus. Please make sure your child has a mask with them at all times if they ride the bus.
Do not park in the handicapped parking spots if you do not have proper handicap credentials.
Also, if your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. Please continue to monitor for common COVID symptoms. If you notice symptoms, or if they have been exposed to a positive COVID case, have your child tested before returning them to school. We want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy :)
We are off to a great start this year. I am so proud of all our students that are working so hard at school, being kind to one another, and SOARing everyday! Thank you so much, families, for allowing us to be a part of your child’s educational journey :)
Go Jayhawks

Never Forget

We love to see our Jayhawks learning and smiling!

Mrs. Graham’s class has been learning that some of their favorite toys can double as learning tools! Today, they got to explore and play with the toys after brainstorming rules to play together and work together!

Check it out: Vandy staff participating in CPR training after school today. Thank you Tim, trainer at Team Life!

Townsend families: when you come to the back parking lot by the gym, there are 2 spots reserved for Handicapped parking. The lines are faint (we are working on making them brighter) but if you do not have proper handicap permissions, please do not park in these spots.

Townsend families: if your child rides the bus, they MUST wear masks on the bus. Please make sure your child has a mask to wear each day on the bus. Thank you.

Townsend had their first fire drill today! Way to stay safe, Jayhawks!

Today Mrs. Johnson's class embarked on a new type of learning in math called Modern Classroom! All kids move through the lessons at their own pace! It was amazing!!

Good Evening, Jayhawk families,
There is no school on Monday, Sept 6.
Please remember to be very aware of your surroundings during drop off and pick up in the back parking lots and keep your speed below 10 mph. Follow the drop off routes and please stay with your child until a staff member is present and the doors open at 8:15am.
Also, if your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. Please continue to monitor for common COVID symptoms. If you notice symptoms, or if they have been exposed to a positive COVID case, have your child tested before returning them to school. We want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy :)
Finally, please remember to send in your child with a labeled water bottle. It’s cooling down outside, but it’s still warm inside and they need to keep hydrated. Thank you.
Go Jayhawks!
