Our first graders had fun today in summer school with a pirate themed day! They went on a treasure hunt looking for words that had the R-controlled vowel sound AR and played a shark attack game that helped them practice finding 10 more and 10 less using base ten blocks in math.

Wishing everyone in the Jayhawk Nation a happy and peaceful 4th of July.
Summer School Info: No school on July 5th and we will be remote for the remainder of the week. Students are still expected to continue working on their class. Teachers hours of 8:30 am-12:30 pm and evening check in from 7-8 pm. Classes resume Monday July 12th from 9 am-12 pm.
