VCL high school science students start the 2nd part of their field trip at the University of Michigan campus farm learning about sustainability and zero waste practices.
Our 11th and 10th grade science students participated in a water quality experiment and the impact of using fertilizers and pesticides on our ecosystem. The University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens provided a great experience for our Vandercook students.

Vandercook Lake Concessions is looking for helpers for the Pink Out Football Game this Friday night. We will also be hosting Volleyball Districts this year so we are looking for help with those. Please take a look and help out if you can. Money earned can go directly to a school program.

📌 What is Friday 5?
Friday 5 is a special recognition for our Young 5, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders. When students are caught exceeding expectations, they can earn a Friday 5 ticket, which is then entered into a drawing held every other week.
Next week, our S.O.A.R. Shop opens for 3rd–5th grade, let’s keep soaring, Jayhawks! 🦅✨
