The many faces of Mrs. Johnson during quarantine lessons! Dressing up for ELA and math lessons makes learning fun and so much more engaging! Zoom meeting scavenger hunts, check-in circle time, and so much more! We can still have a great time no matter where we may be!!!

Vandercook Students, Parents and Staff, watch this video! It's only four minutes long, but it has some positive messages involved that I think everyone should hear at this time. Check it out if you can spare 5 minutes today. It's worth the watch! https://youtu.be/58iMhiGo1Xc

Mental Health Tip of the Day: Students, if you find yourself out of sorts during quarantine... try making a schedule. Making a list or schedule of things to accomplish for the next day will turn on more of the dopaminergic reward circuitry built into your central nervous system. In other words... every time you check something off the list, the more accomplished you will feel, which will lead to feeling content and satisfied. The trick to making a schedule is...it's not a prison! Create the day you want to have. When creating a schedule its essential to have goals in mind. Start small and build up. If you want to make a schedule and don't know where to start, don't hesitate to contact Mr.Mann, he would love to help you specify your goals and make a schedule!

Mental Health Tip of the Day: Take care of yourself. Eating healthy, exercising, good sleep, breathing exercises and social interaction (while practicing social distancing of course) will pave the way for a healthy life. Take care of yourself. You are important!
