“Just make a mark and see where it takes you.” All week long, our 1st graders have been enjoying and applying reading strategies with the book “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. They learned that sometimes the hardest part of something is just getting started. Today, they made a mark and showed their creativity with their own dot!

Townsend Kindness “Rocks” project! Students in Mrs. Schirmacher’s class design and decorate rocks with positive messages on their break times and hide them for the kids to find during recess! All students enjoy finding the positive messages!

ATTENTION SENIORS: The SAT is next week Wednesday, September 23 at Vandercook Lake MS/HS. Remote learners be at the middle school gym entrance at 7:30am. In-person learners report to your homerooms at 7:30am. There are NO CELL PHONES allowed at the testing site. If you have been provided a school calculator, bring it with you for the test. If you have any questions, email Mr.Mann or Mrs.Rudloff. See you all next Wednesday!

MS/HS picture day will be held on October 2nd. In person learners will have pictures taken in the morning. If you are a remote/combination learners,not here normally on this day, please come to have your picture taken at 1pm in the MS Gym. We will be allowing remote students in one at a time, following our covid guidelines, to have school pictures taken. Bring your mask and your smile!
