Mrs. Sweeney’s First Graders had some pretty awesome fun investigating why we only see stars at night. We made our own Star Projectors and took turns being the Starmaker and the Sunshine.

Don't forget tomorrow night is our MS winterfest dance!! Cost is $4 to get in OR pet supplies (animal food, litter, etc.) . We want to give back to our local animal shelter; they take so much of their time to take care of these sweet pets! Dance is 6-7:30pm. Grades 6-8.

This week’s staff “spotlight” is on Karen Kidder-Barrett. She is our amazing music teacher and has taught at Townsend for 23 years! She is married with a daughter and 2 step-children. Her favorite thing about Townsend is the “great staff”. We are lucky to have such a creative teacher.
