All girls in 6th - 8th grade interested in playing basketball starting in January we are hosting an open gym this Wednesday from 3:45-4:45pm.
The Middle School student council is having a movie night on Tuesday, December 10th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the high school library. Hope to see you there!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open to the community on Monday, December 9th from 2:45pm to 6:00pm in the high school library. Please stop by the main office for access to the event.

Now that the weather is changing, please make sure your child comes to school everyday with proper winter gear: boots, snow pants, gloves, hats. Please label everything. We go outside for recess and brain breaks daily. The only time we stay in is if the ‘real feel’ is 0 degrees or below.
We have Santa’s Secret Shop this week. Your child can shop with their class for family presents.
There is a school board meeting on Wednesday at 5:30 in the HS library.
Just a reminder that our school doors do not open until 8:15 am daily. Please make sure to monitor your child during drop off in the morning.

Vandercook Lake HS Student Council invites everyone to a Community Christmas Movie Night. It will be Saturday, December 14th in the MS Gym, 6:30p-8:30p. This is a free event, concessions will be available, see attached flier for more details!
The Music Booster meeting for Wednesday, 12/4/24, has been canceled. Our next booster meeting will be Wednesday, 1/8/25 at 6:30pm.
WINTER CONCERT EVENTS: This Thursday, December 5th, before the concert begins, there are a few events happening at the MS/HS! The Book Fair will be open 5:30-7, the Spirit Corner will also be open with a lot of new swag! The band boosters are selling concessions before the concert, and the Girl Scouts will be available to wrap books for Christmas presents! If you have any food or paper products you'd like to donate to the Food Pantry, or coats/hoodies/boots/hats/gloves to the Jayhawk Exchange, please bring them with you that night! Happy Holidays!
