Mrs. Sweeney's First Graders are off to a great start! Yesterday, we got to know each other better by playing "Find a Friend". We are ready for a fun year of learning and building our classroom community. Go Jayhawks!

Mrs. Lackey's Young 5's class had a great first week. We learned about school, explored instruments in music, played on the playground and we enjoyed Fun Friday. What a great first week!

Beginning of the school-year fun! The students in Ms. Simpson's 1st & 2nd grade classroom enjoy learning about one another & about our classroom expectations.

When you teach in a multi-grade level classroom and you have a few students for more than one school year......
Oh, and you also share a birthday with one of them!!!!
Let the fun begin!
We love our students!!!!

WE NEED YOU! Fall/Winter/Spring Athletic Parents please get signed up and help your student athlete's sport program do great things. Programs earn half the profit from the sales! You don't have to be supporting a specific sport, you could just want to help out and we would love that too!

The Board of Education and the Administration is launching a new initiative to guide Vandercook Lake Public Schools through a Three- to Five-Year Strategic Plan. The purpose of this initiative is to help develop new goals and strategies for continuing to offer an excellent education for our students, while using scarce public education resources in the most effective and efficient way.
The strategic planning process is designed to produce approximately five goals to be accomplished over a three- to five-year period. The plan uses data—along with the feedback of staff, students and community members—to help create a shared vision for the future that will help make the district an even better place for our students. Please participate in the survey linked here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VandercookLakeSP24
