Lilie Benjamin, 8th grader at Vandercook Lake Middle School was selected in the top 20 in Jackson to compete in the National Civics Bee local competition. She is competing in a live competition at Spring Arbor University on April 10th at 6pm. If she makes top 5 of those 20 she will move on to the State Civics Bee. Come out and support our Jayhawks!

Congratulations to our AP Environmental Science class for winning today at Environthon in Kalamazoo! The team will be heading to states next month.

The 8th-grade class had a great time during their visit to Albion College and Henry Ford Allegiance/Wardcraft Conveyer. They had the opportunity to witness the dynamics of a workplace and gain insights into college campus life. Thank you to the College & Career Access Center for this awesome learning experience!

On Wednesday, the rest of the grades will have our literacy night from 5:30-6:30
There is no school Friday to kick off our Spring Break. We all hope you have a wonderful, restful break! School will resume April 1.
