Townsend parents, there was a smoke problem with a building heater, however there was no reported fire and all children are safe. We appreciate all of the cooperation and patience our Jayhawk families have given us as we are taking care of this situation. We are not evacuating.

For Wednesday of Mental Health Awareness Week, students had a chance to validate their feelings by checking in at the beginning of the day. It also provides a visual of the range of emotions students bring to school each day.

On the 80th anniversary of the "date that will live in infamy', Vandercook Lake Public Schools would like to honor and remember the 2,403 servicemembers and civilians who were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Save a Life Tour visited today to raise awareness of safety while driving. Juniors and Seniors watched a video presentation and were able to try simulators to demonstrate the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.
