Vandercook Lake Middle School faced Manchester in a pre-season scrimmage at home Thursday. Here are some photos from the event. The Jayhawks kick off the season Thursday, Sept. 19, at Addison High School beginning at 5 p.m.

Students in Ms Simpson's 1st & 2nd grade classroom have had a fun & busy week! We finished our Fall NWEA reading & math assessments, earned a little bit of quiet computer time while others finished their assessments, enjoyed Grandparent's Day celebrations, and also worked in reading centers! I am very proud of their NWEA successes!

The Vandercook Lake High School junior varsity football team earned a 42-22 win at home against East Jackson Monday night. De'Shawn Roper was a key to the offense and Dallas Swaenepoel returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown on defense for the Jayhawks. Vandercook Lake is now 1-1 on the season.
