After attending a workshop on Pickleball and receiving free equipment, our PE-Health teachers are applying the resources and concepts in their classroom instruction. Students are learning the fundamentals and movement skills of Pickleball in Mr. Midena's PE classes.

Winter Sports Pictures for High School Boys Basketball, Middle School and High School Cheer will be Tuesday, November 19th after school.
Congratulations to all student-athletes who participated during the fall sports season. Tonight, we celebrated their successes at the Fall Awards Banquet. Proud of all you, Jayhawks!
Our 9th grade students enjoyed their trip to the Career Center. They were able to visit 4 classes of their choice!
Our MS and HS were celebrating World Kindness Day by sprinkling kindness throughout the school!

EXCITING NEWS!! Thank you John George Jr Foundation for approving our grant request for $65,000! With these funds, we will be able to purchase additional vans to transport our students for school and extra-curricular events. We will now be able to update our kitchen appliances in our home economics room and have funds for groceries so middle school Living Today and high school Leadership elective courses can teach students to budget for and cook healthy meals and maintain appliances. Finally, we will have funds to pay a fitness center supervisor for another year so our 18+ community members can workout for free in our HS fitness center (M, TH, F 5:30-7:30pm). We are so very fortunate to have amazing donors in our community! Thank you!!
