**ATHLETIC UPDATE** The JV baseball game on 4/23 will be played @ Homer. The bus will leave at 2:45 and the game will start @ 4:00 PM.
Reminder: 7th graders take their ELA M-STEP on Tuesday, 23rd and Math M-STEP on Thursday, 25th. 8th graders will stay home 4/23 and 4/25.

Earth Day Celebration at Sparks-Cascades Park for our AP Environmental Science students today.
8th graders Lydia Chase and Marley Sample competed today at Central Michigan University in the state competition for Michigan History Day with their junior exhibit "Legacy & Implications of the 3/5 Clause" as a turning point in history.
1st/2nd grade students in Ms Simpson's class use the analogy of a table & table legs to compare the concepts of Main Idea & Supporting details. Just like the table legs support a table, the supporting details back up the main idea of a reading or writing passage. The kids enjoyed drawing their "table" and adding details & labels.
