The 8th grade class enjoyed their trip to the Jackson County Courthouse and Albion College. Students learned about different career opportunities and college options!

Today our 8th graders had an incredible opportunity to connect learning to the real world!
We started the day at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, where students learned firsthand about the justice system, courtroom procedures, and the important role attorneys and law enforcement play in our community.
We then headed to Albion College for a campus visit, where students explored college life, toured facilities, and began envisioning their own futures beyond high school.

Yesterday was an incredible day in the gym as our future Jayhawks joined us for our Youth Basketball Camp hosted by the Vandercook Lake Girls Varsity Basketball program!
It was awesome to see so many young athletes working hard, learning the game, and having fun.
