Huge thank you to Tammy Alger and the VCL Lions Club for organizing and hosting an amazing toy giveaway today for some of our Townsend families that needed the extra help for Christmas. We love our community! Thank you!!
Our HVAC units over the HS office and fitness center went out a few weeks ago. We were able to use 2025 Sinking Funds to replace them. The new units are being hooked up today.

📢 Transportation Update - Bus 29 Starting Monday, January 5, 2026, all bus 29 riders on the Middle School/ High School route will see their bus stop times moved 10 minutes later. 🚍 Important Notes ‼️ - This change affects ONLY the morning (AM) MS/HS route ✅️ - Townsend Elmentary times will remain the same ❗️- Please plan accordingly beginning January 5th Example: If your stop time is at 6:35 AM it will now be 6:45 AM Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to improve transportation services. Our VCL Chili & Chill event promotes community engagement. Thank you to the Community Action Agency, Texas Roadhouse, The Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse, and Neglect for helping put this great event on.
Ms. Simpson's 2nd grade class had a fantastic time at our holiday party today. We played bingo, ate snacks, held a classroom gift exchange, and decorated some Christmas "trees". To quote one of the kids, "This is the best Christmas, EVER!!!"
Thank you, so much, to our classroom parents for donating snacks, purchasing a gift for the exchange, and to a few who donated a few extra gifts for those in need. We appreciate your support!

The dress up day for today was festive head gear! The kids in Mrs. Johnson's class had a blast with this day! I think the teachers did too!
